Ocean Allies: 5 New Partners Tackle Sewage Pollution

Discover the latest strides in ocean conservation as we proudly introduce five new partners dedicated to combating sewage and wastewater pollution. Their commitment to environmental health is shaping a cleaner future for our oceans and coastal communities.

In the ongoing crusade against sewage and wastewater pollution, OSA is proud to announce the addition of five dynamic partners who have joined the alliance in the past year. These organizations bring diverse expertise and a shared commitment to safeguarding our oceans and coastal communities. Let's dive in and meet the new partners of the OSA team:

EPIC, a devoted NGO, has been actively working to shield the Caribbean environment through research and community-based action. Recognizing the region-wide challenge of sewage and wastewater pollution, EPIC has joined OSA to tap into a network of support. Their collaborative approach aligns with OSA's principles of respect and transparency, and they bring valuable lessons learned to share with the alliance.

Project Seagrass, a marine conservation charity, focuses on the global protection of seagrass meadows. With seagrass meadows in decline worldwide, Project Seagrass is committed to reversing this trend through their pillars of Community, Research, and Action. By joining OSA, they aim to amplify their impact in restoring and preserving these vital coastal habitats that nurture biodiversity and support countless communities.

Running Tide, a global ocean health company, has a holistic approach to restoring ocean health, rebalancing the carbon cycle, and revitalizing coastal communities. Their innovative technology and verification platform play a crucial role in quantifying permanent carbon removal in the ocean. Partnering with OSA aligns with their commitment to reducing both sewage and wastewater pollution and improving the health and well-being of both humans and nature.

renasys, a Norwegian startup, takes the waste out of sewage and wastewater with advanced filtration solutions for carbon harvesting. Their Mission Zero is ambitious, aiming for zero discharge, zero waste, and zero energy consumption in wastewater treatment. By transforming Wastewater Treatment Plants into Water Resource Recovery Facilities, Renasys contributes to OSA's mission of eliminating sewage and wastewater pollution and fostering circularity.

GLISPA's mission is to build resilient and sustainable island communities by inspiring leadership, catalyzing commitments, and facilitating collaboration. With a focus on addressing critical environmental issues, including sewage impact on islands, GLISPA joins OSA to explore synergies and contribute to the alliance's commitment to conserving and sustainably utilizing invaluable island natural resources.

In the spirit of camaraderie and shared goals, OSA is thrilled to welcome these five partners. Together, they form a powerful coalition dedicated to tackling the urgent challenge of sewage and wastewater pollution, fostering a healthier, more sustainable future for our oceans.
